Experience the Restylane® difference

Achieve the look you want on your own terms – small tweaks or dramatic changes, how you define your look is entirely up to you.

Less is more

Less is more: With Restylane® you can achieve optimal results with less filler gel compared with other hyaluronic acid injectables.7,13,14

Avoid looking “done”

Are you concerned that your facial expressions, like your smiles and laughs, will look odd after a filler treatment? With Restylane® there’s no need to worry. Restylane® DEFYNE™ and Restylane® REFYNE™ have both been proven to maintain natural facial expressions after treatment.8,5,16-18

Less worry about puffiness

For some treatments, avoiding puffiness is essential, not least when treating the under-eye area.19–21 Restylane® EYELIGHT™, Restylane® and Restylane® LYFT™ have all been proven to have less water uptake compared with competitor brands.21-25

Precise and predictable

Restylane® offers fillers with meticulously researched properties, allowing injectors to select the ideal product for achieving the desired
outcome.1–3,5,26 Learn more about gel technologies below.

Unique technologies

Restylane® fillers are based on three innovative technologies that are meaningfully designed to mimic the diverse range of facial structures and skin layers to go beyond volumizing.1–3,27,28
This makes it possible to achieve highly customized outcomes that suit individual preferences.1,7,8

NASHA® HD™ Mimicking bone structure

NASHA HD™ is the technology used for our firmest filler to create distinct structure. Restylane® SHAYPE™ is uniquely designed for a bone-mimicking effect.29-31

The filler gel in Restylane® SHAYPE™ is based on hyaluronic acid that is closest to the skin’s own hyaluronic acid.32-34

OBT™ Natural expressions

The OBT™ technology is used to produce fillers that are soft and flexible.2,3,5 They integrate seamlessly with the tissue to move with natural facial expressions,3,9,35 such as when we laugh, smile or blow a kiss.8,15,16,38

OBT™ fillers are Restylane® KYSSE™, Restylane® VOLYME™, Restylane® DEFYNE™ and Restylane® REFYNE™.2,3,17,18,39,40 They are used on dynamic areas of the face, such as the cheeks and lips.2,3,5 These fillers are the only hyaluronic acid fillers in the market that have been proven to move naturally when tested on patients.8,15,16

The history of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers

When Restylane® was launched more than 27 years ago, it was the world’s first non-animal dermal filler with stabilized hyaluronic acid.10,12 Before, hyaluronic acid gels were of animal origin, with the associated higher risks of causing unwanted immune reactions.41,42

Hyaluronic acid is a native molecule that occurs naturally in our bodies.43 It is a polysaccharide, a kind of sugar molecule, which can bind huge amounts of water – 1,000 times its own weight.41–45 Hyaluronic acid therefore helps our bodies to retain water and to keep our body tissues soft, hydrated and flexible.41,42,45-48

Restylane® uses a customized hyaluronic acid that is the closest to skin’s own.12,44,49,50 This pure, high-molecular weight hyaluronic acid mimics what is naturally present in our skin to ensure patients are getting the optimal treatment outcome.3,12,50–52
