Your treatment
Restylane® Skinboosters™ can help to gradually improve the smoothness of your skin. A personalized treatment plan can range from 1-3 treatments, depending on your aesthetic practitioner’s assessment. A full treatment program starts with 3 treatment sessions, 2-4 weeks apart. While you may notice an improvement after the first session, the full effect will likely be visible after the last session. Following these initial treatments, a maintenance treatment is typically recommended every 4-6 months to ensure lasting results. As everyone has different needs, your healthcare professional will recommend the most suitable treatment plan for you.
How it works
Hyaluronic acid is a substance found naturally in the body that has a unique ability to bind water. It keeps your body tissues soft, hydrated and flexible.
Natural hyaluronic acid in the body quickly forms and degrades (in 24-48 hours). To ensure the hyaluronic acid in Restylane® Skinboosters™ lasts up to a year4, degradation is delayed by cross-linking the hyaluronic acid molecules.12 This process helps Restylane® Skinboosters™ form small “reservoirs” of moisture beneath the skin surface that will give you long-lasting radiance.

One option is to search for licensed aesthetic treatment specialists in national registries. Your treatment should be performed in a spotlessly clean medical environment that affords you privacy. Who should not have a Restylane® SkinboostersTM treatment?
Patients with a known allergy to hyaluronic acid-based products should not undergo treatment, nor should patients with bleeding disorders or active skin diseases such as inflammation, infection or tumours in or near the area to be treated. Discuss side effects, warnings and precautions with your healthcare practitioner before treatment with Restylane® SkinboostersTM.
If you have deep wrinkles and folds, another treatment could be more beneficial for you. Please ask your healthcare practitioner what treatment will give you the best results.

Can I have a Restylane® SkinboostersTM treatment if I am pregnant?
Restylane® SkinboostersTM has not been tested for pregnant or breastfeeding women and is therefore not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
