For a youthful, firmer you, ask for Sculptra®
Sculptra® stimulates your skin’s own natural collagen and elastin production.1–4 With Sculptra®, you will renew skin thickness and firmness and correct shallow to deep wrinkles and folds.5-9
Sculptra® gradually builds your skin’s structural foundations for radiant, natural-looking, rejuvenated skin.5,8-10

Sculptra® as a collagen biostimulator
Sculptra® is a regenerative biostimulator that stimulates your skin’s ability to produce collagen and elastin, rebuilding your skin’s structure and increasing its natural firmness.1–4, 8-10
Collagen is a fibrous protein in the deeper layers of your skin and is key for youthful-looking skin.11 As you age, your body’s collagen production decreases. The loss of collagen will in time lead to loose and saggy skin, such as jowls, and the formation of facial wrinkles and folds.11
Find out more about collagen, including what it is and what it does for your face and skin.
Sculptra® is the first proven regenerative biostimulator injectable that will renew your skin in a progressive way with natural-looking, long-lasting results, showing improvements for up to 2 years.7, 9,12-14
Treatment areas: Sculptra® for jowls, cheeks, and chin
Sculptra® can help to add volume and firmness to areas of your face that have become loose and saggy.8-11 These treatment areas include jowls, cheeks, smile lines (nasolabial folds), laugh lines (marionette lines), and chin wrinkles.15 Sculptra® regenerative biostimulator treatments help to stimulate collagen and elastin in your skin.3,4
Sculptra® for cheeks
As you age, your skin loses volume, which can result in sunken cheeks. This can be due to a loss of facial fullness, and bone resorption that comes with age.16-18 Because of this, people often seek out collagen treatments to help add volume to their cheeks. Regenerative biostimulator injections, like Sculptra®, help to stimulate your own collagen and elastin production contributing to a more youthful look.3-5,9
Sculptra® for jowls and chin
Your skin also loses some of its elasticity as you age, which alongside bone resorption, moving fat pads, and loss of volume higher up in the face, can result in a sagging jawline.15–17 Sculptra® can help stimulate your body’s own collagen and elastin production in your face, helping to gradually rebuild your skin’s structural foundation.3-5, 10
Sculptra® for wrinkles, deep folds, and lines
Wrinkles on the face also come with aging, as changes to collagen, fat, and bone take place.16-18 Wrinkles and folds, such as deep folds between the nose and mouth (nasolabial folds), and lines framing the mouth (marionette lines) can become more pronounced.11 Sculptra® helps to improve skin thickness and increase skin firmness and has been found to help improve the appearance of wrinkles and folds.1–5,8-10

Your Sculptra® treatment
Sculptra® is injected into the deep layers of your skin to stimulate your skin’s own collagen and elastin production.1–4 You will gradually notice visible improvements in skin firmness and fullness.5,8,9
Immediately after each treatment session, you may experience some swelling that will temporarily reduce wrinkles and folds. Thereafter, the gradual process of collagen replacement starts. Sculptra® works subtly, improving facial areas gradually to give you a youthful and natural-looking result that lasts.
How long does a Sculptra® regenerative biostimulator last?
Sculptra® will reinvigorate your skin and bring back your youthful appearance. Results may last for more than two years.7,9,13
In a clinical study, 80% of users were still satisfied with their Sculptra® collagen regenerative biostimulator treatment 25 months after their last injection.19

How does Sculptra® work to stimulate collagen?
The active ingredient of Sculptra® is a poly-L-Lactic acid, PLLA-SCATM. PLLA-SCATM is a biodegradable substance that has been used for decades in dissolvable stitches for wound management.15,20 When PLLA-SCATM is injected into the deeper layers of your skin, it helps stimulate your skin’s own natural collagen and elastin production.1–4
This results in your skin’s inner structure being improved, and you will regain skin volume that has been lost due to aging.

Frequently asked questions about Sculptra®
What should I apply or avoid after treatment?
In the days following your Sculptra® treatment, a cold pack or ice pack will help reduce any common swelling. Within the first 24 hours of treatment, apply a cloth-wrapped cold pack to the treated area for a few minutes at a time. Never apply ice directly to the skin. You may want to massage the treated area for five minutes five times a day for five days after treatment, as recommended by your healthcare practitioner.
After treatment, avoid excessive sunlight and UV lamp exposure until any initial swelling and visible redness go away. Your healthcare practitioner will provide guidelines on sunscreen protection and how to avoid excessive sunlight.
How soon after treatment can I wear makeup?
If there are no complications, you may apply makeup several hours after treatment. Be sure to consult your healthcare practitioner after treatment.
